The Suffern Free Library is working in cooperation with the Foundation Center in
New York City to offer resources that help non-profit organizations and individuals
identify sources of grants and foundation funding.
Available resources include:
Foundation Directory Online Professional
(available for in-house use only)
Provides fundraisers with access to searchable online databases of grantmakers,
grants, and 990s
Foundation Grants to Individuals Online
(available for in-house use only)
Database of more than 6,500 foundation and public charity programs that fund
students, artists, researchers, and other individual grantseekers
Foundation Center
The Foundation Center’s webiste provides online tutorials, training and tips on
all areas of fundraising and philanthropy including proposal writing,
budgeting, non-profit management and much more.
Print Publications
The Foundation Center’s core collection, as well as Suffern
Library’s guides on fundraising (some items are for in-house
use only)
